Local Living was founded in August 2005 by a group of local entrepreneurs who brought BizFizz to Alnwick.
Local Living is what is commonly known as a not-for-profit company, ie the- directors are unpaid and do not hold shares.
However we prefer the term 'for more than profit'. For more information see management and membership.
Local Living (LL) aims to bring jobs and economic opportunities to North Northumberland and is guided by a set of principles. LL operates as a business and aims to make a profit. However, as LL is a social enterprise, any profits will be reinvested in projects to bring about more jobs and more economic opportunities.
